Here's the scoop on the weekly passes for the T: With all the apparent technology that went into creating them, you still have to show your pass to the booth attendant at most stations. While this doesn't present a huge problem, it means that you often need to find an entrance with an attendant instead of a closer one that only has turnstiles. Even more frustrating is the fact that all the turnstiles have a card reader on them, just a reader for a different card than the one now available.
